Central Vacuum

The case for a central vacuum system:

According to medical evidence, the best method of removing allergic substances from your home, such as dust and pollen, is with a central vacuum system.  Unlike an upright vacuum cleaner that vacuums the dirt, but leaves the dust and pollens, a central vac removes these substances entirely from your home.

In addition, a central vacuum system offers unequalled cleaning suction – air flow, quiet operation, and a system that will keep the home clean and dust free.  A standard central vacuum system includes the piping, inlets in various rooms, a power unit/tank, usually located in the garage, and attachments which includes the hoses, power head/brush, two piece wand, and attachments.

Piping for a Standard or electrified Central Vacuum System is typically installed during construction while the walls are still open. The piping includes all pipe, connectors, rough in hardware, inlet wallplates, metal pipe through garage wall, and low voltage wiring to the power tank/motor.  As an option, HomeTek may install a vac pan under the kitchen cabinets or sink so the homeowner can sweep directly into the central vacuum system.
